CEBU ARCHBISHOP ON DEPRESSION

CEBU Archbishop Alberto Uy stressed that depression is real, not imagined.

"It is not a weakness and it is not a lack of faith," the Archbishop emphasized.

The Church official added that depression is a deep human suffering that can affect everyone, even priests.

"It is a wake-up call for all of us to take care of each other seriously," Archbishop Uy pointed out.

To recall, a local priest committed suicide in a Barangay Mabolo condominium recently.

There was no foul play in his death.
